Introduction:
The Ministry of Education and the University Grants Commission (UGC) have entrusted the National Testing Agency (NTA) with the responsibility of conducting the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for admission into Undergraduate Programmes in Central Universities under the Ministry of Education and other participating Universities/Institutions/Organizations/Autonomous Colleges for the Academic session 2023-2024.

Detailed Information:
The CUET (UG) – 2023 is being conducted by the NTA in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. It will cater to approximately 14.99 lakh candidates across 295 cities in India and abroad. The examination is scheduled to take place from 21 May 2023 to 02 June 2023, with buffer days on 05, 06 June 2023.

These candidates have applied for 48,779 unique combinations of subjects across 250 Central, State, and other participating universities/Institutions/Organizations for the Academic session 2023-2024.

Important Dates and City Intimation Slips:

Admit Cards and Examination Slots:
Admit cards for candidates with examinations scheduled on 21, 22, 23, and 24 May 2023 were released on 19 May 2023. The NTA will conduct the test in three slots per day.

Centers in Jammu and Kashmir:

For 25, 26, 27, and 28 May 2023, 44,425 candidates will appear in 15 Centers created in Jammu and Kashmir. Centers in Manipur:
In Manipur, approximately 3,697 candidates initially opted to appear for the CUET (UG)-2023 examination. The NTA has carefully reviewed the law-and-order situation in consultation with the State Administration. Candidates from Manipur who were not in the state or preferred to take the examination in another state/city have been allocated to cities such as Delhi and Guwahati. The option to change the examination center is still available for candidates from Manipur.

Examinations in Manipur have been advised to be conducted from 29 May 2023 onwards, following consultations with the State administration. Candidates who received the Admit Card for 21 to 24 May 2023 or the City Intimation Slip for CUET (UG)-2023 scheduled between 25 to 28 May 2023 are required to contact the NTA if they wish to change their examination center from Delhi, Guwahati, etc., to Imphal.
