Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education Offers Opportunity for Scrutiny of Unfair Means Cases

Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir – The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has released a notification inviting concerned candidates to present themselves before the Unfair Means (UFM) Committee for the scrutiny and disposal of their cases. The candidates accused of resorting to the use of unfair means or misconduct during the Higher Secondary Part II (Class 12th) and Secondary School Examination (Class 10th) Session Annual Regular 2023 examinations have been given an opportunity to defend themselves.

According to the notification, candidates are required to appear before the UFM Committee along with their admit cards on May 30th and 31st, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. The venue for the proceedings is the office chamber of the Joint Secretary, Secrecy-Kashmir Division, located at the New Campus in Bemina, Srinagar.

It is imperative for the accused candidates to attend the scheduled hearing in order to present their case before the committee. Failure to do so will result in the committee making a decision based on the available records and evidence, without any further claims or appeals entertained.

The JKBOSE aims to ensure a fair and transparent examination process for all students. The opportunity for scrutiny provided by the UFM Committee serves as a chance for candidates to provide clarifications or evidence that could potentially affect the outcome of their cases.

Candidates are advised to prepare and gather all necessary documents, evidence, and supporting materials to present before the committee during the scheduled hearing. This will enable them to present a strong defense and ensure a fair evaluation of their cases.

The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education remains committed to maintaining the integrity of the examination system and providing equal opportunities to all students. The UFM Committee plays a vital role in upholding the standards of fairness and addressing instances of alleged misconduct.

For any further information or queries, candidates are encouraged to contact the office of the Joint Secretary, Secrecy-Kashmir Division, located at the New Campus in Bemina, Srinagar.

The JKBOSE wishes all candidates the best of luck in resolving their cases and hopes for a just and equitable outcome for each individual involved.
