While the exact reason behind this warranty extension remains unknown, it is speculated that Xiaomi may have identified certain faults in some of their phones, prompting them to offer free service through the extended warranty. Although the warranty information pages on Xiaomi’s official website had not been updated at the time of writing, it is expected that the company will make official announcements on platforms like Twitter and Instagram in the coming weeks, similar to what they did on Discord. The following Xiaomi phone models are eligible for the two-year extended warranty support: Mi 11 Ultra, Redmi Note 10 Pro Max, Redmi Note 10, and Poco X3 Pro. The leakster Debayan Roy was the first to spot and reveal this information.

To avail the new warranty, individuals who have purchased any of these phone models within the last two years will be eligible. It is important to note that rooted phones, liquid-damaged devices, tampered units, or those with broken cases will not be considered for the extended support.

To avail the newly extended warranty, customers can visit the nearest Xiaomi service center and present the invoice of their phone. Replacement or repair services for eligible issues will be provided free of charge.
